This is very similar to conventional dodgeball in which two teams will stand at the far end with a middle division. However, instead of using the regular dodgeball, each team will have a bucket full of water balloons. As soon as the game starts, each member from both teams will pick up a balloon and start aiming at the opposite team. Anyone who is hit with a balloon from the team is instantly out. The team that is successfully able to stay dry for the longest amount of time will end up winning the game. It's a really fun game that can be played even in large groups.
This is a type of water-based treasure hunt activity where different types of toys can be put in a kids’ pool. Now, the next step will be for kids to take out each of the toys from the pool with the help of their toes. The one who takes the least amount of time to take out all the toys will end up winning the game. You would see that during this game, kids use their creative thinking and problem-solving skills to take out all the toys in minimum time. Some kids also might lose their balance and end up falling in the pool, which is surely bound to induce a fit of laughter.
To play this game, parents will have to make some circles on the ground with the help of white chalk. Now different scores have to be written on each of these circles. All the kids will be made to stand at a particular distance from the circle. Now a child will be given a wet sponge and will be asked to aim the sponge at the circles. The child who can score the maximum by aiming correctly will win the game. The role of the game is that the punch should properly land inside the circle and not anywhere else.
This is a highly competitive game in which kids will have to be divided into two different teams. Each team will have to sit in a straight line in a way that they face the other team. The person at an extreme corner of the queue has to face backward. Now two buckets each will be placed at the extreme ends of both the teams. One bucket will be full of water while the other bucket will be empty. The game is about taking out the water from the bucket full of water and then passing it one by one to the other extreme corner where the last person pours the water into the empty bucket. The process will carry on until the empty bucket becomes full. The team that completes the task first gets to win.
This game can be played if you have a trampoline at home. One has to simply arrange for some water balloons and place them on the trampoline. Now the kids can start jumping on the trampoline while they crush the balloons during the jumping process. Every time they crush a balloon; they will be hit with a splash of water. For people who do not have a trampoline at home, they can simply use a small kids’ pool or a cardboard box where kids can stomp on the water balloons.
To play this game, one child will have to become the ‘it’ person. All the other kids will have one balloon each. The job of the ‘it’ person is to burst the balloons of other kids. The one whose balloon bursts the first will then become the ‘it’ person. It is a constant game of running around, chasing, and defending. It is also a game that requires the child to be highly flexible while also maintaining their body balance to avoid the balloon falling off from their hands.
These are some of the entertaining and summer friendly games that you may make your child play to make this time more fun. Parents and kids can come together afterwards to clean up the mess after a fun time.
