A good warmup exercise activates and prepares the body for the rigorous sports activity ahead. It has to be light and not too exhausting. Here are some great warmup exercises for kids.
Jumping Jacks requires your child to spread their legs open while taking their hands into the air and clapping and then coming back.
Squatting requires the child to lower the hips while being in a standing position and then come to a standing position to activate leg muscles.
The child will have to stretch open the arms and simply rotate them in a clockwise or an anticlockwise motion.
The child will have to lift their knee as high as possible to be able to touch their palm placed at a certain height to warm up their legs.
Lunges require your child to keep one leg in front and one at the back and shift the body weight on the leg in the front.
To do this, your child will have to bend down and touch their toes with their fingertips without bending too much.
